Fuhrman Program

Joel Fuhrman, M.D., is a board-certified family physician and a nutritional researcher specializing in permanent weight loss and the prevention and reversal of disease through nutritional and natural methods. Dr. Fuhrman is also The New York Times best-selling author of “Eat to Live.” Based on his own clinical findings and research, he created the “Nutritarian” diet style which addresses food addiction, overeating behavior and food cravings.

What you can expect:

In this Immersion, Dr. Fuhrman and his team invite you to learn about nutrient density, the cornerstone of the Nutritarian way of eating, how to overcome any food addictions that may stand in the way of reaching your health goals, what “true” hunger is, and how to truly harness the power of superior nutrition. Your week in the Garden State, the state of New Jersey, will include:

John McDougall, M.D. is a board certified internist and has been studying, writing and “speaking out” about the effects of nutrition on disease for over 30 years. He and his wife Mary are also the authors of several national best-selling books as well as the co-founders of Dr. McDougall’s Right Foods, which produces high-quality vegetarian cuisine to make it easier for people to eat well on the go. The goal of the McDougall Program is to start you on a path to genuinely improved and lasting health.

What you can expect:

Dr. McDougall and his team want you to learn how great it feels to take charge of your own health. In this Immersion, Dr. McDougall and his team will teach you about what constitutes good health, and why certain foods and habits are healthy and why others are harmful. You will be encouraged to ask any and all questions of the doctors, dietitian, psychologist and staff. They want you to have the time of your life while you’re in northern California. You can also expect:

Scott Stoll, M.D. encourages you to become “nutrient rich” for life.
